Why does video work to gets buyers to make purchases or take the first step to making the purchase?
WAYNE FORD: I’ll let you in on a secret that’s getting out quickly: Video is the most user friendly and engaging way to communicate the story of your business, product or service to a viewer.
A quality intro or explanation video will do most of the preselling work for you by answering the questions the viewer has while watching. Creating video content consistently will keep bringing your audience back to your properties and give them more opportunities to check out what you are offering.

Here’s an excellent example I came across today while searching for new glasses frames.
At the online store of Warby Parker I noticed they have some sort of Home Try On program. I was intrigued but wanted to know more and I found myself on the page below with an entertaining video that explained how the service worked.
Fun video huh?
The video not only made me laugh (which connected me subconsciously more to the company) but also answered my questions on how it worked.
The result – my five pairs to try on for free are in the mail and it’s very likely I will purchase one of them.

This relationship and your constant interaction with your followers will build you customers for life. Rather than trying to make one quick sale you are more focused on a long term goal of building an audience, a social media following and a contact list that you can continue to market to over and over again.
Because of the valuable video programming you are offering your call to action to have the follower do something that benefits them and your business becomes a very natural process.
It makes a whole lot more sense than trying to cram a product down someones throat saying “Buy this! You need it!”
