As YouTube celebrates it’s seventh birthday there are lots of facts and figures flowing out of Google Towers about its mammoth video sharing service.
Not least the fact that four billion videos are watched everyday and a staggering seventy-two hours of video are uploaded to the the site every minute.
Many more stats are contained below including the three billion hours of video that are watched by eight hundred million unique users per month. That is fifteen minutes per user!
It all points to, the unsurprising fact, that YouTube’s growth is accelerating and part of the reason for that is that 70% of growth is coming from outside of the US (click to enlarge).
