YouTube – it’s not just for fun anymore.
In fact, Cisco predicts online video will account for 90 percent of all Internet traffic in the next three years, says David Hsieh, Cisco’s vice president for marketing and entertainment. Currently, video accounts for 51 percent of all Internet traffic, he says.
In an interview with Beet.TV, Hsieh observes, “You’re really seeing the use of video purvey everything we do, whether its work, live, learn or play, and we see that there’s going to be a phenomenal growth over the next decade or more.”
Video, he says, is a great way to communicate critical content. http://www.beet.tv/2011/10/ciscotraffic.html#top
